Authentic hand-carved Balinese statue of a Dvarapala (Temple Guardian).
This imposing statue, 60 cm high, is a beautiful example of traditional Balinese woodcarving. The Dvarapala, recognizable by its expressive face, royal headdress, and protective posture, is hand-carved from solid wood and subsequently finished with rich polychrome painting. The detailed finish and the natural patina of the paint layer give the object a weathered and characteristic appearance, fitting into a high-end eclectic or Asian-inspired interior.
