Vintage Tibetan mani prayer wheel

Vintage Himalayan prayer wheel dating to around the 1980s, mounted in a black carved wooden frame. The metal cylinder is decorated with repeating mantra inscriptions and small red and blue cabochons.

The wheel turns freely on its vertical spindle, and a metal hanging loop is fitted to the back of the frame. This is a pre-owned vintage object, not a newly made item.
