A crowned Buddha in royal attire stands upright on a stepped lotus base, 63 cm tall and cast in gilt bronze. His tall crown rises to a flame, and his hands rest against each other before the chest. A dot marks the forehead and the earlobes are long. The figure comes from Bangkok and belongs to the Rattanakosin period.
Dressed in royal attire and richly jewelled, the Buddha stands on a stepped lotus base beneath a tall crown that ends in a flame. His hands meet before the chest in anjali, the gesture of greeting and reverence. There is a dot on the forehead, and the earlobes are elongated. The figure is hollow-cast in bronze and gilt.
A fragment of mirror is still set in the chest ornament.
