Buddha Statues Under €500
Buddha Statues Under €500
This is the accessible entry point to the 1stBuddha collection: a rotating selection of Buddhist sculpture and Asian objects priced below €500. It is not a clearance category. The lower price may reflect smaller scale, later dating, simpler materials, condition, market demand or a less complex provenance history rather than a lack of visual or historical interest.
The collection can include antique, older and vintage pieces in bronze, wood, stone, lacquer and other traditional materials. Every listing carries its own dating and attribution, so a nineteenth-century small bronze and a later twentieth-century devotional image are not presented as if they were equivalent.
For first-time collectors and decorative buyers
Small-scale sculpture often offers an excellent way to study regional features closely: the shape of the ushnisha, robe line, mudra, lotus base, facial modelling, casting seams, lacquer layers or traces of gilding. These details matter more than price when understanding what an object is.
Condition is stated individually. Age-related wear, small losses, old repairs, surface deposits and later stands may be part of an object’s history and are not automatically treated as defects to be concealed.
